On December 1, 2025, the CSEM Precision Liquid Handling Workshop in Lausanne will once again bring together experts from industry and academia to discuss the latest innovations in automated liquid handling.
As in previous years, we will take part in the event, sharing insights on engineering excellence and system integration.
During the Innovation Pitch Session, Konstantin Lutze (our Head of Business Unit Products / CTO) will showcase the development and integration of precision engineering solutions for reliable and automated liquid handling in life sciences and diagnostics, illustrated through the Microlab PuriFY project, realized in collaboration with Hamilton.
His pitch will explore the application and workflow context of the instrument, its magnetic bead–based technology for sample purification and fluid removal, and the dispensing algorithms that ensure accuracy and reproducibility. He will also touch on how the system architecture is AI-ready, enabling predictive maintenance through intelligent data collection.
You will also have the opportunity to meet Alexis Paul Tzannis at our booth and discuss how customized engineering approaches can make laboratory workflows more robust, efficient and scalable.
The workshop program covers a broad range of topics: From microfluidics and droplet control to automation strategies and system integration, offering an excellent platform for exchange and collaboration within the precision automation community.
