HSE•AG attended the FierceBiotech breakfast panel discussion at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco, California to expand its business network.

The FierceBiotech breakfast panel discussion at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference got day 3 off to an early start with a lively debate around the question, “Are we seeing a genuine reblooming of biomedical innovation - is biotech, notably young biotech, ready to bring in the money, partners and investors needed to fuel R&D?”

The WuXi Global Forum at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, which is now in its sixth year, offered unlimited opportunities for networking and discussion with industry and thought leaders. There were fascinating discussions with like-minded experts on how the industry is impacted by innovations and changes and topics such as therapeutic inventions, artificial intelligence, and effects on the regulatory landscape were addressed.

We continued to meet potential customers and partners from the United States and Europe during the day. It was impressive to see how quickly some small or startup companies were able to grow and expand their business in a very short period of time. They achieved this through partnerships with the academic and pharmaceutical industry or by raising venture capital and convincing investors with their newest technologies. Well, after spending just two days in San Francisco, it’s becoming obvious why the annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conferenceis often referred to as the Superbowl of biotech.
